1. Licenses

Synovus holds VASP registrations in the EU (MiCA), MSB in the United States (FinCEN), DASP in France (AMF), and equivalent licenses in 40+ jurisdictions.

2. Restricted Jurisdictions

Synovus does not serve users resident in: North Korea, Iran, Syria, Cuba, Crimea, and any jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions.

3. Tax Reporting

We provide annual transaction summaries and, where required, file directly with tax authorities (IRS Form 1099-DA, DAC8 in the EU).

4. Travel Rule

We comply with FATF Recommendation 16 (Travel Rule) for crypto transfers above applicable thresholds, sharing originator and beneficiary information with counterparty VASPs.
